It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend Immunological Days in Pleven 2020 - 9th International Workshop “2020: Successes and Failures in Reproduction” which will take place on 25 May, 2020 in Pleven, Bulgaria.
The workshop is organized by Center for Reproductive Health, Medical University of Pleven; Medical Center “Clinical Institute for Reproductive Medicine” Pleven; Laboratory of Clinical Immunology, University Hospital “St. Ivan Rilski”, Medical University of Sofia; University Hospital Lozenetz, Sofia, Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Association of Clinical Immunology.
Honorable chair, lecturer and chairperson of sessions is Dr. Gavin Sacks, one of Australia’s leading IVF Specialists. Dr. Sacks is a Clinical Director, IVFAustralia; Conjoint Associate Professor, UNSW and Staff Specialist, St. George Hospital & Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, Australia.
Even as our understanding regarding the various diagnostic and clinical aspects of reproductive failures rapidly expand in recent years, many issues remain unresolved, some of them concerning the success of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and management of risk pregnancies.
“2020: Successes and Failures in Reproduction” will aim to point out, discuss and hopefully enlighten the hot topics in Reproductive failures research, opening a road to new ideas and collaborations in the field of clinical practice.
The Workshop will focus on the following key topics:
- Hereditary and acquired thrombophilia in pregnancy
- Peripheral and uterine NK cells
- Tregs
- Endometrial microbiome and chronic endometritis
- Stem cells and reproduction
- Immune modulating therapies in reproductive failures
- Varia

Abstract submission instructions
9th International Workshop “2020: Successes and Failures in Reproduction” invites the submission of original abstracts for Poster Presentation. The abstracts should be submitted via the online submission form or email before the deadline for abstracts (01 April, 2020) in order to be forwarded to the Workshop Chairs for review.
